Urban Visions - masterclass

University of Innsbruck - Prof. Robert Stuart-Smith (AA London)

colleagues: Sabine Kendlbacher, Maria Osl

The workshop was focussed on different patterns of moving vectors, like in cities. To get to know and control a tool how to use moving vectors, as well as the are moving through urban areas our pattern was focused on cohesion and alignment.

Based on a regular raster, containing points with irregulary directed vectors, it came to a topographical structure, formed by a dominating seperation and a proper amount of trailing vectors. Furthermore the wander attitude is part of the topographical appearance too. The phenomenal character of the final grid is the slight complexity genereted out of simplicity.
